What happens, step by step
Every claim is different, but most follow this path.

Step 1: You call or send the form
Tell us what happened in your own words. A photo of any letter helps. We don't contact your employer without asking you first.

Step 2: We read the file with you
We go through the letters, medical notes and pay stubs together and explain what each one means.

Step 3: We sort out your medical care
We ask for the visits, tests and treatment your doctor recommends, and for the bills to be paid.

Step 4: We file what needs filing
Forms, hearing requests and notices go in on time. You get a copy of every one.

Step 5: We negotiate, or we go to hearing
Many claims resolve before a hearing. If yours doesn't, we prepare you and stand beside you.

Step 6: You go back to work, or settle with your eyes open
We read every return-to-work offer and settlement with you, including what it would end.
How you pay us
We are paid only if benefits are recovered, as a percentage of what we win. State rules limit that percentage, and a judge or the board often has to approve it. If nothing is recovered, you owe no fee. Case costs, such as records and medical reports, are set out in your written agreement, and you may owe them even if the claim is lost.
