Garnett Dunnigan, a gray-haired man in a white shirt and tie, seated at a desk by a window

Garnett Dunnigan

Founding partner, Rome

Garnett opened the Rome office and still takes most of the firm's hearings.

Garnett grew up in Floyd County, where his father kept the books at a textile mill. He started the firm to help people like the ones he grew up around.

He is the one who will tell you, early and plainly, what he thinks your claim is worth and what could go wrong.

How Garnett works

Garnett reads the whole medical file before the first hearing and writes you a one-page summary: what the file shows, what it doesn't, and what he plans to ask for.

He calls you after every hearing, the same day, so you hear the result from him and not from a letter.
